C. Beth Beecher

M.Sc., CAT(C), CSCS – Athletic Therapist and Strength and Conditioning Coach

Educated at Concordia University in Exercise Science, Beth is a certified athletic therapist (CATA and NATA) and certified strength and conditioning specialist.  She currently practices at High Performance Sport where she treats and trains a dynamic clientele that includes a highly active population and elite athletes.

The High Performance team strongly believes in addressing clients as a “whole” by combining lifestyle and wellness with principles of biomechanics, anatomy, stages of healing, and sport-specific demands to assess injury, investigate movement patterns and devise comprehensive training or reconditioning programs.

Chad Benson

MSc, BSc, BPE, CSCS, BCAK, PTS – Strength and Conditioning Coach

Educated at the University of Victoria and Memorial University, Benson is the President and Owner of ARC Performance Training Systems Ltd, www.arctraining.ca. In addition to his consultant role for B2Ten, Coach Benson has been sub-contracted as a conditioning coach for NHL and CFL professional teams having conditioned a number of athletes in Collegiate, Pro or Olympic Sports. Benson, in addition to athletic conditioning has a blend of expertise in myofascial release, trigger point therapy, functional movement testing, & back to play rehabilitation. Benson continues to be a sport conditioning author and (or) lecturer for such organizations as the AOSSM, BCRPA, CATA, CFP, CSEP, Fit Rendez-Vous, IDEA, Infofit & the NSCA. Benson recent endeavour’s include development and release of the ACTivated and P’repare to Perform educational series.

David Campbell

B.Sc., CAT(C), DO – Osteopath and Athletic Therapist

Dave has been working in private clinical practice as an osteopath and athletic therapist for over 25-years.  During this time he has been a member the Canadian medical team at several international competitions including the 1986 and 1990 Commonwealth Games as well as being named Chief Therapist for the 1985 World Gymnastics Championships in Montreal and Chief Therapist for the Canadian Medical Team at the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta. Teams from professional sports such as Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League seek treatment from Dave for their athletes. Dave is a part time faculty member in the Department of Exercise Science at Concordia University. 

Dr. Wayne Halliwell

Sport Psychology Consultant

Wayne is a professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Montreal where he has been teaching and conducting research in the area of applied sport psychology for the past 30 years. He is a past-president of the Canadian Sport Psychology Association and an internationally recognized leader in the field of sport psychology. Wayne has worked with numerous professional and Olympic athletes and teams and has had the privilege of being part of the support teams at many World Championships, Summer, and Winter Olympics. His consulting work is based on a simple, personalized approach aimed at helping elite athletes “perform to their potential” while “enjoying the journey”.

Leslie Larson

B.A., B.Sc., Certified Hellerwork Practitioner, Structural Integration Specialist

Leslie has over 15 years of experience treating myofascial, structural and postural based movement and performance dysfunction. Leslie’s systematic, hands on approach of soft tissue/myofascial release techniques facilitates the restoration functional mobility and joint function and as well as overall muscular performance.  His work has helped individuals, including Olympic and professional athletics, in their rehabilitation from sports injuries, chronic pain, and repetitive strain injuries.  Leslie lectures on myofascial release and postural dysfunction to the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association continuing education program, medical professionals and corporations. 

Scott Livingston

B.Sc., CAT(C), CSCS – Strength and Conditioning Coach and Athletic Therapist

A graduate of Concordia University, Scott is currently the Strength and Conditioning Coach and Certified Athletic Therapist for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League. Previous to this he worked in the same capacity for The New York Rangers and New York Islanders.  He also served as Strength and Conditioning Coach and AT with Concordia University from 1990-98 where he also taught in the Exercise Science Department as a part-time faculty member.  . Scott is widely regarded as a world-class strength and conditioning specialist and reconditioning specialist who has trained athletes in the National Football League, Major League Baseball, National Hockey League and Olympic athletes. He is the president of High Performance Sports Consultants www.highperformancesport.com. Scott is a regular speaker at conferences and teaches courses in reconditioning.

Jaime Livingston

B.Sc., CAT(C), CSCS - Athletic Therapist and Strength and Conditioning Coach

Educated at Concordia University, since graduating with honors, Jaime has been working as a certified athletic therapist and certified strength and conditioning coach.  During the past ten years as a professional she has reconditioned and trained a dynamic clientele that includes athletes from elite amateur to professional sport.  She works with a diverse clientele and is widely regarded as an expert in her the field of athletic therapy specializing in injury reconditioning.  She is often referred to by many clinical practitioners in the Montreal area for athlete consult on injury reconditioning.

Richard Monette

B.Sc.B.Ed.MA – Sports Psych and Success Strategist

Richard leads a life dedicated to his passion: improving human and organizational performance. In aspiring to reach new heights in his own performance, His diverse clientele, spanning from world champion athletes to corporate CEOs, speaks to the universal application of his strategies. He teaches corporations and individuals to strive beyond the safe and familiar – to learn when challenge and risk are necessary and how to balance these with pragmatism. In a career spanning over twenty years, Richard has acquired extensive academic credentials and practical expertise in business, athletics, and education. Richard has a broad range of professional experience, working as a business strategist, corporate performance coach, sports psychology consultant to professional athletes and Olympians, author, and public speaker. 

Damien Moroney

B.Pht. - Physiotherapist

Damien is a physiotherapist and currently works in a clinical practice in Nelson, BC. Throughout this time he has had the opportunity to evaluate and rehabilitate athletes for provincial, national and international competitions. He has provides consulting services to the B2Ten Olympic Athlete Development Program, the Montreal Canadiens Hockey Team, the Canadian Athletic Coaching Centre, Cirque Du Soleil, Hockey Canada (Women’s National Team Program), and the Red Bull Canada High Performance Program. He is currently working on the rehabilitation and training development of PGA touring professional, Davis Love III. 

Damien teaches a series of courses internationally attended by Physical Therapists, Strength and Conditioning Professionals, Athletic Therapists, Pilates Instructors and Massage practitioners entitled ”Performance Stability”.  These courses provide a framework for athlete assessment, identification of stability dysfunction and prescriptive exercise retraining. 

Paulo Saldanha

M.Sc. - Exercise Physiologist

Mr. Saldanha is an applied exercise physiologist and certified strength and conditioning specialist with the NSCA. He has years of experience in the laboratory and the field with physiological testing on elite athletes from many different sports. His area of specialization is the optimization of athletic performance via quality based conditioning strategies. He operates and directs Premier Studio, a high comprehensive training center in Montreal www.premierstudio.ca. Premier offers creative training methods to from injury rehabilitation to the Olympic performance level. As a former Professional triathlete, elite cyclist and Ironman, Mr. Saldanha has combined the practical experience of training and racing, with his scientific background to develop the PowerWatts training system. His modular indoor power-based system allows individuals of any ability to train together at their own specific ability.
